Cellular rejuvenation
support your skin & hair's natural vitality
At Cosmetic Central, we offer Cellular Rejuvenation Treatment, a modern approach designed to support your body’s natural renewal processes. Using minimally invasive techniques, this treatment may help support collagen and elastin production and your body’s natural tissue renewal processes, helping to enhance the appearance and vitality of your skin and hair.
how it works
Cellular Rejuvenation uses targeted microinjections of a regenerative component derived from your own body, often combined with advanced skin techniques such as microneedling, dermal fillers, and laser treatment. These techniques may help support collagen and elastin production, encourage skin hydration, and promote overall skin and hair wellness.
potential benefits
Clients often seek this treatment to:
Support overall skin and scalp wellness
Improve skin texture and smoothness
Enhance hair thickness, strength, and vitality
Complement other skin and hair wellness or aesthetic treatments
treatment experience
The process begins with a personal consultation to discuss your goals and determine the most suitable approach. The treatment itself typically takes 30–90 minutes, depending on the areas being treated and techniques used. Most clients experience minimal downtime, and our team provides clear guidance for post-treatment care.

WHAT TO EXPECT
1. CONSULTATION
During your first consultation, Mr Naveed Basheeth will take the time to understand your aesthetic concerns, talk through what you're hoping to achieve and whether cellular rejuvenation is the best option for you. It’s a great chance to get comfortable, ask anything on your mind, and walk away feeling confident and excited about the next steps.
Helpful questions you might want to ask:
What kind of results can I realistically expect?
How many sessions will I personally need?
Are there any risks or side effects I should keep in mind?
What should I do to get ready for the treatment?
2. PRE-TREATMENT GUIDANCE
This information is intended to support informed decision‑making for a platelet‑rich plasma (PRP) cosmetic service to the skin and scalp. PRP involves collecting a small amount of your own blood, processing it, and applying it to the skin or scalp as part of a cosmetic procedure. It is not a treatment for medical conditions or diseases.
Prior to your PRP appointment, we recommend the following general preparation guidance. These suggestions are provided for information only and may not be appropriate for everyone. Please follow the advice of your prescribing or treating clinician.
7–10 days before your appointment
Where clinically appropriate and unless advised otherwise by your prescribing doctor, consider avoiding:
Non-prescribed anti-inflammatory or blood-thinning medicines (such as ibuprofen, aspirin, or naproxen)
Non-essential supplements that may increase the likelihood of bruising or bleeding (including fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, ginseng, turmeric, and garlic supplements)
Excessive alcohol intake

Other cosmetic treatments to the same area, unless discussed with the clinic

Scalp exfoliants, medicated shampoos, or products that may increase scalp sensitivity, unless advised by your clinician
Other scalp procedures or treatments unless discussed with the clinic

3. PROCEDURE
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment uses a small sample of your own blood to prepare plasma that contains a higher concentration of platelets. Treatment sessions usually take 30-60 minutes.
Steps of PRP Treatment (Skin & Scalp)
Blood Collection – A small sample of your blood (usually ~20 ml) is taken.
Processing – The blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components.
Preparation – The concentrated plasma is collected for treatment.
Numbing – A topical anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area (skin or scalp).
Application / Injection – The PRP is injected or applied to the targeted area using techniques similar to other cosmetic injections.
Aftercare – You may receive guidance on post-treatment care, including avoiding certain products or activities for a short period.
4. SIDE EFFECTS, RISKS & CONTRAINDICATIONS
PRP is generally well tolerated. Common, temporary side effects include pain or tenderness, redness, swelling, and bruising at the treatment site. Pinpoint bleeding, itching, or scalp sensitivity (for hair treatments) may occur.
Less commonly, there may be prolonged swelling, headache, or light-headedness after blood collection.
Serious complications are uncommon when PRP is performed by a trained health professional using sterile technique.
Please advise the clinic prior to booking or attending if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a bleeding or clotting disorder
Take anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication
Have a current or recent infection, illness, or recent vaccination
Have a history of abnormal scarring, keloid formation, or delayed wound healing
5. AFTERCARE & SUPPORT
After your PRP treatment, the following general guidance is recommended:
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for the rest of the day.
Avoid active or exfoliating skincare (for skin) or harsh hair/scalp products (for scalp) for 24–48 hours.
Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, or excessive heat for 24–48 hours.
Be gentle with your skin or scalp; avoid any cosmetic or energy-based procedures in the treated area until cleared by your clinician.
Monitor for any unusual reactions such as prolonged redness, swelling, or discomfort and contact the clinic if concerned.
Attend any follow-up appointments as recommended by your clinician.
Guidance on additional treatments or product use will be provided during follow-up to support ongoing skin or scalp care.
